Lord,I love you. You are Great. Full of power & might.
You are mysterious. and moving, in my life today and always.
Your Spirit is dwelling within me. Praise You Lord, I praise You LORD!
Thank you for the simple things in life:
walking with a friend. sipping tea. laughing with my cousin about silly childhood memories. smiling until my mouth hurts. sitting in the sun.
There are many choices every day...choosing what to wear, what to eat, where to shop...what to believe in, who to marry, who to trust, where to live, who to love...who to believe...
many choices, many decisions in life...big and small.
it's hard to decide what's important sometimes,
but Jesus has the answer:
He says, "Follow Me."
Jesus IS the answer!
Who are you following? Your own passions and purposes?
Or are you after something bigger, something meaningful, something eternal? Are you after God?
Are you following Him, seeking Him with all you are?
Grab your Bible or borrow from a friend or ask a local church for one if you don't have/own one...Look up and read John 12. It speaks of God's power and how He wants us to follow Him.
Lord, fill me with contentment to follow You wholeheartedly and not be so distracted by the things of this world.
