STILL.

Be STILL, and know that I am God. //Psalm 46:10

I don't think that I sit still very long. Ever. It's hard to.
My mind is often found running on overdrive much of the time.
Not only my mind, but also my body. I am often busy...school, work, running.

God says, "Be still"... "know that I am God". He is my God. He is my Abba Father!
How long do I take to sit and let those words soak into me... saturate my mind?
Rarely do I sit & BE STILL.

And, "being still" doesn't mean having to sit still, but having a mind that is "still", a mind that is resting, truly resting, in God. And a heart too, that is resting in Him. His power, his love, his peace, his wisdom, & his companionship.

Lord, help me to REST in YOU. In who you are... I want to be still before you, even amidst my busyness.

Love you Jesus!

C.G.W.

Charis, you are a close companion,
you are a great cook, you are a woman of character,
you are caring toward others and you are concerned for what is right,
Charis, you are creative and contentedly cheerful,
You are careful about big decisions you make,
but you are also carefree at times.
Charis you love chocolate, and enjoy a good cuppa coffee.
You are compassionate and courageous,
You love children and will be a wonderful mom someday.
Throughout your life, you have always taken time to carefully consider
God's calling on your life. Charis you have chosen to set your heart
on Christ and have chosen to follow Him first and foremost.
Charis, you are God's child, carefully created by His power, God loves you
and has crafted a unique plan for your life.

Greg, you are a great guy, a true man of God,
I am thankful to welcome you into our family.
As I've gotten to know you I have observed that you are goofy,
you are genuine, and you give gladly to others.
Greg, you are generous, with your time and resources.
You are growing each day, growing into who God has made you to be.
Greg, I see how you seek God's guidance in each decision you make
and how you desire to give God the glory in all you do.

This day, with you both clothed in white, as I and me, turns to we,
I have some blessings for the new Mr & Mrs Weigler!
To you both, I pray you will always welcome whoever and whatever God sends
into your life. May you, together, be winsome and wise in what you do.
I pray that you will allow God to weave your lives together, as He guides your way in this world. May God bless your work, heal your wounds, and may you feel His comfort in seasons of weakness.
Rise up on eagle's wings and soar, as you wait on the Lord and walk each day, hand in hand, worshiping Him.
Love is winning!

~ I love you.
