Over the weekend I attended my first hockey game at the Joe Louis Arena
in downtown Detroit! I went with my friend Alison who attends Mich Tech Univ, her boyfriend who also attends MTU, and a couple of Chinese girls my friend knows from school. The game was MTU vs. U of M. MTU lost pretty bad, but I heard they won the next day vs. North Dakota. It was a fun day. I enjoyed spending time with Alison, and the girls, and getting to know her boyfriend a bit. And it was really neat being at the Joe for the 1st time...it's a huge place! I hope to go to a Red Wings games sometime this season possibly. Anyway, I had a good after-Christmas-weekend, hope you all did as well. Until next time, Cil

Learning to trust.
It may be hard sometimes,
but it's always worth it to
trust in God.

I was reminded of an important lesson again
yesterday...you never truly know what a day will bring.

But if you're trusting God, He has you in His hand.

He will hold you through the hard times, and the good times too.

Romans 8:28 says: "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

And there's a song in my mind right now... You never let go, You never let go, You never let go-o... HE will not let me go. Thank you GOD.
